The research team for this project includes Game2Work graduate student Yvonne Farah and fellow graduate students Mitchell Talyat and Antonio Banuelos Moriel, with advisor Dr. Michael Dorneich. Together they are investigating the following:
• Developing and applying a teamwork measurement system through observable and trackable events
• Exploring the consistency of cooperative video games in inducing teaming behaviors
• Exploring the internal validity of gaming environments for teamwork assessment
• Developing a gaming testbed where teamwork behaviors can be triggered and assessed through design decisions
After completing their analysis of cooperative gameplay analysis and applying the learning in the development of a gaming testbed in Unity, the team will conduct playtesting and games user research sessions.
