Game2Work Day 2022
On Thursday, October 27, Iowa State University (ISU) will host the first state-wide gathering of people whose work includes the use of serious games and gameful elements for STEM education and workforce development purposes. Researchers, entrepreneurs, industry partners, gamers, game designers, and more will gather at the ISU Alumni Center in Ames to learn about work going on throughout this ecosystem, make new connections, and provide direction for the future of Game2Work, a multidisciplinary initiative of ISU.
The day will include keynotes, facilitated breakout sessions, lightning talks, connection opportunities, and—of course—games. This event is free of charge, and refreshments will be provided.
We hope you will join this gathering—and invite others to join—from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to:
- Learn about the use of serious games in STEM-related applications
- Help shape the agenda, policy, and tools around the use of serious games for STEM learning and work
- Connect with others working in this space
- Be inspired and energized
